THE CONNECTICUT. DREAM IT. DO IT. INITIATIVE brings together a coalition that includes business and industry associations, educational institutions, economic development organizations and manufacturers from throughout the state to launch a national initiative focused on enhancing Connecticut's manufacturing workforce. The initiative is founded on Connecticut's existing partnerships and strong commitment to the growth of the manufacturing sector as a key economic driver statewide.

Connecticut. Dream It. Do It.
addresses a shared goal among manufacturers-creating the next generation of skilled workers. The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT) administers the initiative.

Mission: To provide the region's manufacturers with the skilled, credentialed workforce necessary to compete globally by repositioning manufacturing as a viable, cutting edge career.

Goals: Establish a positive image of manufacturing to ensure a workforce pipeline and align educational systems to industry needs to close the existing skills gap.
