Axerion, a New Haven start up founded around two novel technology platforms from a Yale University laboratory, is dedicated to cellular regeneration. The company is working to develop a fusion protein to help repair spinal cord injury, which may have applications with other conditions. Axerion is also working on a small molecule that could be useful in preventing memory loss in Alzheimer patients. The company is currently seeking funding from a variety of sources to pursue its research. |
